Privacy Policy

This page explains how TxProof handles document proof data.

What TxProof does

TxProof helps users create a cryptographic proof that a document existed at a certain time. The proof is based on a SHA-256 hash of the document and, when requested, a blockchain transaction.

Original documents

TxProof is designed to avoid exposing original documents publicly. Public verification uses the document hash, certificate data, and blockchain transaction information. Users should keep their original documents safely.

Data we may store

Email notifications

TxProof may send account verification, password reset, payment-related, and blockchain proof notification emails. Blockchain proof emails contain links to the public verification page, PDF certificate, and blockchain explorer. TxProof does not email the original document.

Payments

Payments may be processed through PayPal. TxProof does not store full card details. Payment provider records may be used for proof of payment, support, audit, and credit allocation.
